Quite a few months back I shared a peek into our girls remodeled bathroom on Instagram, it has taken some time to get all of the finishing touches done and for it to be clean enough to photograph, but it’s finally time to share the transformation.

But first lets go back to the before……..when we bought our house we knew one of the first rooms on our makeover list was definitely our hall bathroom, it serves as our girls bathroom, but is also the bath our guests use. For the first few months the kids wouldn’t shower in there because of the “cave shower”, a small, dark, enclosed space tiled in lovely 70’s brown tile.

It was full of 70’s funk and dated style, in desperate need of a makeover.

Sadly, little bird and her olive tree had to go.

I wanted a bright, light space that we could add pops of color to, here’s my initial inspiration board.

And here is the AFTER!!
